Andrew J Hafer CMT
Influenced by many different counter culture intellectuals, Andrew became familiar with sacramental plant medicine as well as local music performance in Colorado, focusing on facilitating trance states and inner alchemy as he began to experience how yoga would open him to the great esoteric mystery. He has explored shamanism, ethnobotany, sacred texts, music production, ozone therapy, massage and more in order to make unique contributions to the world.
Andrew was professionally trained at the Kali Institute for Massage and Somatic Therapies beginning in 2012. He was taught that the one open to healing themselves would be the person ultimately doing the healing. Andrew has over 600 hours of training in Western massage styles including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Cranial Sacral, Neuro-Structural Bodywork (an offshoot of Rolfing) and Eastern styles including Thai Massage, Yin Yang Theory, Qi Gong, and Shiatsu that works along acupressure meridians. His typical approach uses oil massage with the deepest pressure comfortable, integrating a range of techniques specific to any particular concerns or for general benefit. Andrew believes massage is a part of a holistic approach to living a healthy lifestyle that may also include yoga, good food and herbs, a positive psyche, exorcise, etc. His massage can be used to successfully relieve pain and stress, for detoxification and to achieve relaxation and bliss.
